About Alex

Alex is an Associate in HFW’s Aerospace team in London, specialising in aviation finance transactions.

He supports lessors on a range of financing and leasing matters, including cross border aircraft leasing arrangements. Before qualifying as a solicitor, Alex spent 7.5 years with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), a South Korean government entity, working as a contract manager on a major nuclear power plant project with postings in Abu Dhabi and Korea. He also previously served as a Staff Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Air Force.

Fluent in Korean, Alex brings additional international experience from his time in the firm’s Geneva office, where he worked on trade finance matters.

He is qualified in England and Wales.
