HFW advises Ras Al Khaimah International Airport on new VVIP terminal and hangar agreement

Global law firm HFW has advised Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) International Airport on its agreement to build a new VVIP terminal and private jet hangar.

With a 1,500 sqm VVIP terminal, 8,000 sqm multi-purpose hangar, premium lounges and a dedicated helipad, this development strengthens RAK’s position as a premium gateway for high-profile global travellers. Set to open in Q1 2027, the airport’s expansion is set to support the region’s tourism ambitions and its emergence as a luxury entertainment destination in the United Arab Emirates.

HFW advised the airport on the fixed based operations agreement between RAK International Airport and Falcon Executive Aviation, which governs the financing, construction, operations and maintenance of the VVIP terminal and hangar.
