About Emma
Emma specialises in competition law, including on anti-competitive agreements and conduct, abuse of dominance, merger control and UK competition law regulation. She has also spent many years advising on the UK Bribery Act. She has a particular interest in compliance programmes and training, dawn raids preparation, internal investigations, and governance matters.
She has significant in-house experience:
- in the competition law team at Shell PLC, on secondment from private practice;
- as Senior Legal Counsel at Barclays PLC, responsible for the UK Retail bank, as well as experience in credit cards, insurance, commercial, wealth and investment banking; and
- as Head of Competition & Anti-bribery at Direct Line Group plc advising on general insurance products across the motor, home, commercial, travel, pet, and rescue sectors.
Emma is qualified in England & Wales.
