About Megan
Megan is an Associate in the Shipping Litigation team, based in London.
She has experience acting for shipowners, charterers and insurers on a wide range of shipping disputes, including cases arising from charterparties, bills of lading, fires, collisions and cargo damage. She is regularly involved in complex cases in the travel, offshore and energy sectors. Much of Megan’s work involves multi‑jurisdictional litigation and arbitration.
As part of her training, Megan completed a six‑month international secondment to the HFW Monaco office, working on contentious shipping, international trade and commodities cases. She also spent time in the firm’s Transactional Shipping team, advising on ship sale and purchase transactions, including the sale of vessels declared constructive total losses following the war in Ukraine, as well as multiple high‑value vessel sales.
Megan is qualified in England and Wales.
