About Bella
Bella is an Associate in HFW’s Shipping Litigation team based in the London office.
Bella has a particular interest in, and considerable experience in dealing with, major marine casualty incidents (e.g. collisions, allisions, groundings). Her experience extends to both wet and dry shipping cases, having worked on disputes arising out of time charterparties, voyage charterparties, slot charterparties, contracts of carriage, sales contracts, LOF contracts, port agreements, wreck removal contracts, general average, allisions, collisions and groundings. She frequently works on cases with a cross-border (international) element.
Bella has experience with both High Court litigation and international arbitration. She has also undertaken advisory work by reviewing, advising on and amending a variety of agreements, including sea freight agreements, freight management agreements and warehousing agreements.
Prior to qualifying in March 2024, Bella spent time in HFW’s Commodities Litigation, Fraud and Insolvency, and Corporate and Commercial teams.
Bella is qualified in England and Wales and also completed her LLM in Shipping Law at Cardiff University.
