HFW sponsored this annual Forum and HFW Special Counsel Ben Buckhurst gave a presentation on psychological injuries under the Seafarers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1992.

Summary

Ben's presentation encompassed how psychological injury claims which commonly arise in the maritime industry are currently governed by the Act and explained the impact of proposed amendments to the Act following the publication of the Seacare Scheme Review earlier in 2013. HFW Partner Gavin Vallely was also in attendance.
