As a lawyer, Richard specialised in shipping, focused mainly on dispute resolution arising from charterparties, bills of lading, shipbuilding, collisions, fire and explosion, salvage, general average, groundings, total loss, towage, offshore and limitation.
He was recognized over a number of successive years as a leading lawyer in his field by Chambers, Legal 500 and other publications. In 2019, he was nominated and highly commended by Legal 500 for their Management Partner of the Year award.
Richard is qualified in England and Wales and has been based in our Singapore office since 2014.
