Nicola is a dispute resolution lawyer and is regarded as one of the rising stars within the maritime legal sector in Asia.

Nicola specialises in both wet and dry shipping including charterparty disputes, casualties, fire and explosion, general average and total loss. She has particular experience of the container vessel claims, dangerous and loss of cargo together with contractual disputes. She also has significant experience in all aspects of P&I and FDD disputes.

Nicola regularly acts for clients in Hong Kong and English High Court proceedings, HKIAC, HKMAG, CIETAC, SIAC and LMAA arbitrations. She also has experience in local proceedings relating to ship arrests, winding up, recognition and enforcement of arbitration awards and criminal cases (maritime and environmental liabilities).

With her tri-lingual language capabilities, including English, Cantonese and Mandarin, Nicola works closely with owners, operators and traders in China/Asia-Pacific trades.
