About Victoria

Victoria is specialised in a wide range of shipping finance transactions and non-contentious matters in the maritime sector, acting for a client base made up of many of the major shipping lenders and Greek financial institutions and banks, international hedge funds as well as shipowners and managing groups.

Victoria advises on all types of financing arrangements, including straightforward “vanilla” financing, bilateral and syndicated deals, pre-and post-delivery financings as well as structuring, restructuring and rescheduling loan transactions. She also has a considerable transactional practice, advising on a variety of shipping and trade contracts, including ship sale and purchase contracts, newbuilding agreements, MOA’s and charterparties. She represents buyers, sellers and banks at closing meetings and undertakes mortgage and security registration.

Before joining HFW, Victoria worked for a number of years in Piraeus for another established English shipping law firm, as well as in London in a major City of London law firm.
