With about 25 years’ experience as a solicitor, Stephanie has practised in a variety of working environments, including government, in house and private practice. She has a depth of experience in managing teams of lawyers with expertise and responsibility in a wide array of areas, including commercial disputes and privacy, however, her specialty area and passion is workplace relations law.
Stephanie has practised workplace relations law throughout her entire legal career, across the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious issues. Her experience extends to include, among other things, the conduct of investigations, advising on the application of industrial instruments, assisting with the management of ill and injured workers, advising on terminations, advising on employee vs contractor, advising on managing inappropriate workplace behaviour (such as bullying and harassment), restructuring and downsizing, contract and policy development, advising on post-employment restraints, privacy in the context of work, and employment issues that arise in the course of corporate transactions (such as business transfers and the like).
Stephanie is also an experienced litigator (including in work health and safety matters) and is experienced in delivering training and seminars in the employee relations and safety space.
