About Mary
Mary is an associate in HFW’s Monaco office and is actively involved in shipping, yachting, commodities and insurance matters.
She has experience of acting for owners, charterers, insurers and cargo interests on a range of disputes arising out of charterparties, bills of lading, insurance policies, fires, collisions and cargo damage. The majority of Mary’s work involves multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration.
Prior to joining HFW Monaco, Mary trained at a boutique shipping law firm in London where she was involved in a wide range of shipping disputes with a particular focus on charterparty and bills of lading disputes. Mary was also regularly involved in arbitration, mainly on LMAA arbitration.
Mary is a qualified lawyer in England and Wales and is a native Greek speaker.
