About Lee
Lee specialises in commercial litigation with an emphasis on fraud, asset recovery and insolvency. She has worked on various complex, cross-border financial litigation matters with a focus on injunctive relief, tracing and securing the proceeds of fraud. Lee’s broader litigation experience includes shipping collision work, shareholder disputes and large scale insolvency matters for a broad range of clients, including banks, insurers, ship-owners, charterers, liquidators and creditors.
In 2016 Lee assisted the HFW piracy team in its efforts to successfully negotiate the release of 26 sailors who were held hostage by Somali pirates for over four years.
Lee spent time in HFW’s London, Hong Kong and Singapore offices, before joining the Hong Kong office full time in 2017.
