About Lea

Lea is an associate in the Energy Group in London. She has experience across a range of matters in the energy, regulatory and climate change space. She is passionate about working together with clients seeking to reduce their emissions, transitioning from fossil fuels to cleaner energy or participating in the Australian Carbon Market.

She has previous experience in planning and environmental law, including advising on environmental approvals at both State and Commonwealth level. Lea is the current President of the National Environmental Law Association (WA branch), which hosts webinar and panel discussions on climate change policy and litigation, carbon markets and international obligations under the Paris Agreement.

Some of her experience includes:

  • Advising a major utility on a $21 million State Government funded project to create Australia’s longest EV charging network.
  • Advising on the acquisition of shares in a prominent Australian carbon farming project company.
  • Assisting an international company on a confidential restructure to create a new green business unit.
