About Kate

Kate is a Knowledge Counsel in HFW’s global Knowledge team, supporting our Disputes lawyers across Australia and their clients. She is located in our Melbourne office.

Kate specialises in personal injury litigation and insurance dispute resolution, with experience across a broad range of sectors including health and medical; travel, cruise and leisure; and marine and offshore. In particular, Kate has advised cruise ship and pharmaceutical companies, marine insurers and P&I clubs, and catastrophically injured individuals, in complex contentious and non-contentious matters.

Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2007, Kate has represented litigants in the County and Supreme Courts of that jurisdiction and the District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales. She also spent time working in Aberdeen, Scotland for a leading Scottish marine law practice and gained valuable industry exposure working in-house for a Norwegian offshore wind and energy services provider.
