Aaron Bolton is a special counsel based in our Sydney office, he works primarily with domestic and international stakeholders in the building, construction, and insurance industries, addressing a spectrum of front and back-end issues.

Leveraging a blend of private practice and in-house experience, Aaron swiftly provides concise advice. He frequently delivers presentations on various industry matters and holds a position as a casual academic at UTS’ School of Built Environment, Faculty of Design, Architecture, and Building.

Aaron specialises in building, construction and infrastructure, in both back-end and front-end aspects. On the back end, he navigates dispute resolution, infrastructure projects, and represents clients in Supreme Court proceedings. He has notable experience in handling disputes for issues such as defects, delays and design.

On the front end, Aaron handles the review and negotiation of contracts for large-scale infrastructure projects, manages subcontract agreements, and conducts thorough contract risk analysis for projects ranging from $10M to $100M, catering to both government and private sectors. In insurance, Aaron has experience representing international architecture firms and insurance brokers, offering insights in multi-party proceedings and indemnity disputes. His involvement spans a wide spectrum, from projects in private hospitals to major public infrastructure developments.
