HFW recognised as a leading international firm in chambers ASIA Pacific Guide 2019

Global, sector-focused law firm HFW has once again been recognised as a leading firm in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2019, a guide to the region’s best lawyers and law firms.

HFW achieved 47 practice and lawyer rankings in the new edition across our network of offices in the region.

Chambers praised HFW’s regional and global network in numerous practice commentaries, noting our Aviation Finance colleagues “were able to work round the clock by having members of the team in Asia and Europe who covered for each other flawlessly and with breathtaking efficiency” and that the firm has a “superb shipping disputes practice with outstanding capabilities across China, Singapore and Australia”.

The strength of HFW’s sector expertise is also acknowledged, namely as “a go-to for marine and aviation-related insurance mandates” , its Construction team’s “solid experience in cross-border matters involving South-East Asia”, and clients including “major companies in the energy and shipping sectors”.

The Chambers rankings are based on a combination of research and client feedback, with assessments made on technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence and commitment.

HFW is ranked in Band 1 in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2019 for Shipping in APAC region, China (including both the PRC and Hong Kong) and Australia.
