HFW is pleased to announce the launch of the "HFW Ports & Terminals seminar series", featuring expert external and HFW presenters.

Summary
Forthcoming papers aim to appeal to terminal operators, port and terminal insurers, insurance brokers, claims adjusters and intermediaries, management consultants, civil engineers and terminal investors. Each seminar will feature two 45 minute papers.
The first seminar features Dinesh Sharma from Drewry Maritime Consulting, presenting on "Coping with growth: Port infrastructure – what are the challenges?". His presentation reviews trends in global seaborne trade and ship size and discusses the impact that these trends are having on ports and terminals. The presentation concludes with some future-gazing about the outlook for the ports sector during the next 5-10 years.
Dinesh will be followed by HFW Partner Craig Neame and HFW Senior Associate Geoffrey Conlin who will provide "An overview of terminal risks, insurance and claims" in which they will discuss insurable and uninsurable risks, insurance market wordings and attritional and major claims. HFW Partner Alistair Mackie will introduce and chair the seminar.
