LNG Seminar

HFW, Turner & Townsend and DNV GL will be hosting a joint seminar on the construction of LNG projects. Supported by practical scenarios, experienced practitioners from all three firms will talk on insurance, claims and the legal, commercial and technical aspects of such projects.

Summary

HFW Partners Chanaka Kumarasinghe and Nick Longley will present on the interpretation of clauses allocating risk within construction contracts and how best to transfer that risk using insurance.

Turner & Townsend’s Directors, Andy Aston and Peter Atkinson will provide an insight into both commercial and contractual lessons learnt from their practical and ongoing experience of working on some of the world's largest LNG projects.

DNV GL Regional Business Development Manager, Simon Brooks will give an overview of the LNG market with specific reference to recent changes in the Australian LNG sector. DNV GL Global LNG Segment Director, Lars Petter Blikom will outline current small-scale LNG and bunkering developments in Asia.
