HFW Insurance Workshop - Damage, Defects and Design

Holman Fenwick Willan will be hosting a workshop examining some of the common coverage issues which arise in relation to construction and operational policies (including liability policies), particularly the distinction between "physical damage" (which is, generally speaking, an essential trigger to most policy forms) and defects and design-flaws (which although exhibiting characteristics of physical damage might not actually be so).

Summary

Through considering practical examples, participants will gain an improved awareness of what is, and what is not, covered under many of the common policy forms.

The workshop will be facilitated by Richard Jowett, Head of Insurance and Reinsurance, Australia and will also be attended by Partners, Julian Sher and Paul Wordley.

Seminar attendees will be able to claim 1.5 CPD (Substantive Law) points.
