More about Ellen

Ellen acts for clients in the mining, resources and energy sectors. Her experience includes advising Chinese state-owned resources companies on their Australian projects, representing a mining company in an international arbitration, advising a petroleum company on a proposed cross-border transaction and obtaining nuclear concentrate transportation and export permit.

Ellen is a translator and editor of Hunt on Mining Law of Western Australia's Chinese version, which was published by Law Press China in 2018. She is also a lecturer of Australian Corporations Law and Contract Law.

Ellen has deep and practical understanding of the mining industry and used to work at CITIC Pacific Mining (Australia) as a senior contract specialist in charge of contract negotiation, clause drafting and damage claims. Before working for CITIC, Ellen worked for an Australian national law firm.

Ellen is a member of the AMPLA (Australian Mining Petroleum Law Association) and a legal committee member of China Power International Cooperation Union.

Ellen is qualified in New South Wales, Western Australia and the People's Republic of China.
