EU Commodity Derivatives Seminar
The EU's EMIR regulation and the Swiss Financial Market Infrastructure Act mean commodity derivatives (and some physicals) in Switzerland will be more closely controlled and regulated. As a result, traders face new challenges and burdensome requirements, particularly on contracts with EU counterparties.
Date
13 February 2014
Location
Metropole Hotel, Geneva
Summary
The commodity market will need to understand how to manage these changes and how the new regimes will affect their businesses.
On the day that the EU parties to derivatives contracts must file their first trade reports under EMIR, HFW Partner Robert Finney and Associate William Hold will present an overview of the new EU and Swiss requirements and how they will impact traders and affect the market.
