Yaman qualified as a lawyer in Jordan in 2002. He holds a Masters in Business Administration and Bachelor of Law degree. He joined Holman Fenwick Willan in 2010 after working for leading law firms in Jordan and the UAE. Yaman's practice focuses on dispute resolution and litigation within the GCC. He represents insurers, P&I Clubs, and shipowners in various insurance and shipping disputes including vessel arrests and cargo claims. He also undertakes non marine related matters including product liability, tort, commercial agency and disputes related to carriage of goods by air. Yaman has experience in handling criminal proceedings in the UAE involving corporate fraud and personal injury and has represented banks in respect of various finance disputes related to Letters of Credit and fraud in documentary credit transactions.
