William is a dispute resolution and advisory lawyer with experience relating to charterparties, shipbuilding contracts, bills of lading, sales contracts, off-spec cargo, letters of indemnity and MOAs.

In particular, William has substantial experience in the LNG sector - negotiating long term time charters and shipbuilding contracts and advising on a diverse range of disputes arising out of the transportation of LNG.

William also regularly advises on ship sale and purchase issues, frequently in the recycling sector.

William has acted for shipowners, charterers, P&I Clubs and commodity traders. He has also spent time in our Singapore office as well as completing a recent 6 month secondment with an International Group P&I Club in London.

William is qualified in England and Wales.
