Simon is a Senior Associate in the Dubai office and deals with dispute resolution including large scale, multinational litigation and arbitration in the shipping, transport and international trade sectors.

He also advises on non-contentious matters, including in relation to trade sanctions, commodities trading and shipping contracts.

Simon has experience in enforcement proceedings, focussing on arrests of vessels, both domestically and abroad, and has acted for both Government Departments and Vessel Owners/Operators in relation to cargo claims and casualty incidents.

Simon has previously held positions on the committees of Young Shipping Australia and the Maritime Law Association of Australia and New Zealand, Victorian chapters.
