HFW Seminar: New Nordic Marine Insurance Plan 2013

Holman Fenwick Willan, Dabelstein & Passel (Hamburg) and Thommessen (Oslo) will be hosting the second in the series of seminars, on the New Nordic Marine Insurance Plan 2013, this time in Hamburg.

Summary

The aim of the seminar is to provide a brief summary of the New Nordic Plan and to compare it with the position under the English ITC and German ADS/DTV.

This seminar is part of our marine insurance series, the first of which was held in November. The seminar will consider issues such as all risks v named perils, duties of disclosure/misrepresentation, cover for defective design/wear and tear, and other pertinent differences between the three regimes. There will be an opportunity for open discussion of the issues at the end of the seminar, which will be led by James Gosling of Holman Fenwick Willan, Dieter Swampe of Dabelstein & Passehl and Andreas Meidell of Thommessen. The seminar will be followed by drinks and canapés.
