Louise is a senior associate based in Rotterdam, Netherlands and acts principally for owners, charterers and P&I Clubs on both contentious and non contentious dry shipping matters. Her work spans a variety of disputes such as charterparty, bill of lading and insurance coverage disputes.

Louise also advises on international sanctions compliance and has experience in commercial litigation in the High Court and in arbitration including jurisdictional challenges.

Prior to joining HFW, Louise gained experience working for another international law firm in London and has previously also worked as a claims manager at an International Group P&I Club in London dealing with FD&D and P&I matters. She has also spent time on secondment at a P&I Club in China and insurer in the Netherlands.

Louise holds an LLM in maritime law and is a native Greek speaker.

Louise is qualified in England and Wales and Greece.
