More about Kerry

Kerry advises on construction law, specialising in large scale, complex infrastructure and engineering disputes. He has a focus on arbitrations and ADR, and also advises on legal issues arising from the conclusion and execution of construction contracts.

Kerry's experience includes handling disputes arising from the scope and operation of the two largest coal-driven power stations in South Africa. He has also advised on the enforcement of Payment Certificates issued following the construction of South Africa's largest wind-powered power station. In the infrastructure space, Kerry's work includes advising on the rehabilitation of roads and the construction of water and sewerage network systems. He has also represented contractors and principals in enforcing and defending proceedings arising out of the issuing of Call and Performance Guarantees.

He has a proven track record in achieving positive outcomes for his clients in complex, often multi-jurisdictional matters.

Kerry is admitted in New South Wales and in South Africa. He is a member of the Society of Construction Law and the Hellenic Australian Lawyers Association.

The Melbourne office is widely recognised as being among Australia’s most distinguished maritime, trade, energy and insurance law practices.

The office handles a broad range of contentious and non-contentious work for international marine and insurance industry clients, multi-national and local mining and oil and gas companies, agricultural commodities producers and traders, financial institutions, port and terminal operators and logistics services providers, and construction contractors.
