Joanne is a Legal Director in the London office and specialises in shipping litigation, focussing on contractual shipping disputes including those arising out of charterparty and bill of lading contracts, cargo claims, dangerous cargo, bunker disputes and shipbuilding disputes.

She represents owners, charterers, and their insurers based internationally. On the casualty side, Joanne has handled wet shipping disputes including car carrier fires, groundings, unsafe port disputes, container stowage/overboard losses and general average incidents. Joanne has previously worked in HFW's Hong Kong office and speaks French and Italian.
