Jean-Baptiste specialises in commercial litigation and transport law, with specific expertise in aviation liability and raod transportation/logistics. 

He acts for a number of domestic and international airlines, insurers and other aerospace entities on a wide range of matters, such as multi-jurisdiction major catastrophe losses (and as such has been involved in multiple high-profile aviation disasters related matters over the last decade), product liability, aviation insurance, personal injuries, cargo matters and passenger claims. He also has experience of General Aviation matters and advises on non-contentious aspects and matters related to travel law, consumer law and commercial law. 

Jean-Baptiste assists road transportation and logistics players, particularly those specialized in last mile transport, in matters related to litigation. His expertise also covers the launch/scale-up of activities, drafting and review of contracts and regulatory advice/audit.

Jean-Baptiste is Band 3, in Chambers & Partners Europe and clients describe him "as sharp, efficient and always available, attentive to our needs, very responsive and passionate about his area of expertise". He is also nominated as "Next Generation Partners" in the editions of Legal 500 EMEA 2024 and 2023.

Jean-Baptiste has published several articles in various French law reviews and international legal newsletters about both transport and aviation law. He is the author of a book on the insurance and regulatory issues relating to civil drones and has also co-authored a 'liber amicorum' book on general transport law. He is a member of the French Air and Space Law Association.
