HFW's International Litigation Caseload Doubled In 2018, Report Shows

A new report has revealed that HFW's international litigation caseload more than doubled in 2018.

HFW handled 21 cases in the English Courts on behalf of overseas litigants last year, according to The Lawyer's Litigation Tracker – up from 10 in 2017. The firm litigated for clients from China, the UAE, Switzerland and the Marshall Islands, among others.

The Lawyer's data also ranks HFW as the second most active firm for commercial litigation in the English Courts in 2018, with nine cases, and the third most active law firm in the English Commercial Court, with 13 cases, putting it between Magic Circle firms Allen & Overy and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
