HFW Continues Asia-Pacific Push with Senior Partner Move
Sector-focused law firm HFW has further strengthened its fast-growing Asia-Pacific practice by relocating senior partner Noel Campbell from London to Hong Kong.
Noel heads HFW's global Fraud & Insolvency and Commercial Litigation groups, and has moved to Asia-Pacific to spearhead the continued growth of both practices in the region.
Noel has more than 20 years experience litigating in offshore financial centres and will continue to handle complex and high-value matters relating to the UK, the BVI and other international jurisdictions, working alongside the firm's specialist Fraud & Insolvency teams in London, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. HFW recently hired Fieldfisher's Brussels disputes head Emmanuel Roger France, who specialises in fraud, asset recovery and white-collar crime.
HFW has one of the largest and most active disputes practices in the market, with contentious work accounting for around 70 percent of the firm's total revenue.

Noel is the latest HFW partner to relocate from London to Asia-Pacific, following ship finance partner Stephen Marais' move to Hong Kong earlier this year. Ship and offshore finance partner John Forrester and admiralty and crisis management partner Toby Stephens both moved from London to Singapore in 2017.
HFW's Global Senior Partner Richard Crump is based full-time in Singapore, having relocated from London in 2014.
HFW was one of the first international law firms in Asia-Pacific and recently celebrated its 40th anniversary in Hong Kong. The firm now has more than 200 lawyers, including 61 partners, across seven Asia-Pacific offices.
In 2016, HFW entered into a formal association with Chinese firm Wintell & Co, becoming only the second international law firm to secure a local alliance in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone. The firm also launched in Indonesia in November 2017 and recently made a series of partner hires in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.
