HFW will be hosting a seminar exploring cargo insurance and the practicalities to be aware of when insuring cargo, as part of the Geneva seminar series.

Summary
HFW Partner Paul Wordley and Associate Ciara Jackson will discuss the three versions of the Institute Cargo clauses ((A), (B), and (C)), looking at the different levels of cover these provide and whether the Insured has got the appropriate cover. The following areas will also be covered:
- When does cover start and terminate - is cover for storage included?
- Is the Insured aware of the exclusions which are automatically written in by virtue of the Institute Cargo Clauses?
- What do you do when you have a claim - practical guidance to preserve coverage.
